This guide walks through the product flow for creating a first wine e-label page.
1

Create an account

Sign up or sign in so labels can be stored under your producer account.
2

Enter wine details

Add the core product information: wine name, producer, address, origin, alcohol content, volume, ingredients, allergens, and nutrition values.
3

Review the preview

Check the mobile e-label preview before publishing. Confirm the content is factual, complete, and aligned with the physical package label.
4

Publish the label

Move the label from draft to active when it is ready to be reached by a QR code.
5

Download the QR code

Download the QR code for print production and test it on real devices before packaging.

Required label information

For a typical EU wine e-label workflow, collect and verify:
  • Wine name and vintage year.
  • Producer or bottler name and address.
  • Alcohol content as percent volume.
  • Net volume.
  • Origin, appellation, PDO, or PGI details where applicable.
  • Allergen information, especially sulfites.
  • Ingredient list.
  • Nutrition information per 100 ml.
  • Lot identification for traceability on the package where required.
Some mandatory particulars still belong on the physical package label. Do not rely on the QR code page as the only place for energy, allergen indication, lot code, or other information that must remain on pack in the target market.

Optional enrichment

Optional factual information can help consumers understand the product, but mandatory e-label pages should stay neutral and non-promotional. Common optional fields include:
  • Grape varieties.
  • Serving temperature.
  • Storage instructions.
  • Production method facts.
  • Sustainability or process facts.
  • Contact information.
Keep awards, sales prompts, social links, loyalty campaigns, and storytelling on a separate marketing page or route.

Before printing

Run this check before committing a QR code to packaging:
  • The QR code opens the intended production URL.
  • The published page works on iOS and Android cameras.
  • The QR code scans at the planned print size.
  • The page loads quickly on mobile networks.
  • The physical package label and digital page have been reviewed together.
