Creating an e-label means preparing a factual digital page that consumers reach from a QR code on the wine package.

Workflow

1

Start a new label

Open the generator and create a new draft for the wine.
2

Add basic details

Enter the wine name, vintage, type, producer, bottler, country, region, and appellation details.
3

Add compliance details

Enter alcohol content, volume, allergens, ingredients, and nutritional information per 100 ml.
4

Review the summary

Check the preview for missing values, formatting issues, and wording that may be promotional.
5

Publish

Publish only after the digital page and physical package label have been reviewed together.

Basic details

Capture enough product identity for a scanner to understand exactly which wine the page represents:
  • Wine name.
  • Vintage year where applicable.
  • Wine type, such as red, white, rose, sparkling, or other.
  • Producer name and address.
  • Bottler information where applicable.
  • Country, region, origin, appellation, PDO, or PGI.
  • Net volume.
  • Alcohol content.

Compliance data

The digital page should make core disclosure data easy to find:
  • Ingredients.
  • Allergens, especially sulfites.
  • Energy and nutrition values per 100 ml.
  • Lot identification reference where appropriate.
  • Required market languages.
Avoid publishing placeholder content. A QR code can make inaccurate information more visible, but it does not make it correct.

Optional factual details

You can include factual supporting details when they do not interfere with mandatory information:
  • Grape varieties.
  • Serving temperature.
  • Storage instructions.
  • Production method facts.
  • Sustainability process facts.
For marketing copy, winery history, awards, events, discounts, social prompts, and loyalty campaigns, use a separate web page or QR route.
